Info on the drama:
Toda Erika, Tabe Mikako and Maki Youko will be the leads in Softbank's smartphone entertainment application platform UULA's original drama "I LOVE YOU". The drama is based on a 2007 compilation of love stories written by six different writers where three stories were selected and adapted. In the first episode "Toumei Polar Bear" (The transparent Polar Bear) based on Isaka Koutaro's work, Toda plays a woman who is troubled over her long-distance relationship with her boyfriend. In the second episode titled "Mahou no Button" by Ishida Ira, Tabe plays a woman who's not good at relationships and holds a torch for her childhood friend. In the last episode "Sidewalk Talk" by Honda Takayoshi, Maki will play a career woman who is on the verge of divorce.
The theme song of the drama will be "I LOVE YOU" by the late Ozaki Yutaki and it will be covered by BIG BANG member D-LITE a.k.a. Daesung and played by violinist Hakase Taro.
